# Connect or disconnect cloud account

> Reconnect a cloud account or temporarily disconnect it from FalkorDB.

Controls whether FalkorDB maintains an active connection to your cloud account. Disconnecting stops FalkorDB from managing infrastructure in the account without deleting the registration; reconnecting resumes management.

<Note>
  Disconnecting moves the instance through `DISCONNECTING` to `DISCONNECTED`. Reconnecting moves it through `CONNECTING` back to `READY`.

## Path parameters

  ID of the cloud account deployment instance.
</ParamField>

  ID of the service the cloud account belongs to.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="subscriptionId" type="string" required>
  Subscription that owns the cloud account.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="setConnection" type="boolean">
  `true` to connect, `false` to disconnect.

Returns `200 OK` with an empty body.
